Inflixmab Infusion

Infliximab (Remicade) is a "biological" treatment for some patients with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. It is administered by intravenous infusion over two to four hours. Allergic and other reactions to infliximab are rare, however, close monitoring by a specially trained nurse is required during the infusion.

Infliximab infusions are given at Marin General Hospital and at the offices of California Cancer Care, 1350 South Eliseo.
